Before Stepping into a New Trimester

Feeling a bit ironic... Boring during my holidays, and now university going to start, and still I'm boring... Just finish packing my stuffs, besides my PC of course... I can actually finish packing earlier but my sister just wants me to teach her Physics... she's taking SPM this year and the exam is next Monday! I've realise I've forgotten most of the things learned for SPM... so just have to refer to the BOOKS!!!

I've spent the whole yesterday exterminating termites... yes, termites... those tiny white ant-like six foot crawlers... just did the extermination last few weeks... my dad sprayed insecticide in the attic, where THEY were first spotted... but then those "clever" bugs moved their way into our room... a part of the wooden tiles in my parent's room is infested with termites... so we did another pest control bussiness...

My PC is back !!!!

Just finish re-installing all (almost!!) of my applications... Just brought my PC back from the PC shop... Its motherboard is replaced with a new one while the previous one is sent for warranty claim... guess I can't really wait for two months... yiks! :-P

Have to re-install all my applications after my OS is re-installed after the motherboard replacement... Hope it (motherboard) can last forever!!!

Another Reward from Hotlink: Hotlink Rewards

I heard about Hotlink Rewards from Rain... it's another "reward" that gives rebates and redemption vouchers to Hotlink users...

Here's how it works:
(1) First register yrself to Maxis... by SMS of course... suprisingly all the SMS sent for Hotlink Rewards is FREE... when is the last time we see Hotlink giving away FREE gifts?

(2) Then, we can check our reward points and redeem our points through SMS...

Although we can only redeem 100 points for RM 1.00 airtime... but it's better than nothing at all... but I prefer Hotlink gives more rewards throught giving 50% more airtime credit when we top up... like what DIGI would do a few days before and after its customer's birthday...

Happy Deepavali !

I did not celebrate Deepavali... however, a friend from Sabah send me an SMS greeting me Happy Deepavali... the odd thing is... I'm not an Indian... haha ^o^ maybe that friend didn't know that... :-P

My final result is out... but I can't seem to view it... not sure whether is it the MMU server problem or etc... anyway, some of my coursemates had checked their results... but I'm not worried because I think I did score well in the final exam... haha... ^o^ over confident! Hoped that I can check my results by this Thursday, when the DeepaRaya holiday is over...

After using my Nokia 6630 for 3 weeks, I've found out that the phone have its defects... for example, the "view captured image" quality is bad... the picture is blur and is like there are noises in the photo... it doesn't look like pictures from a 1.3 MegaPixel phone... but if the picture was to viewed from the Gallery, then it looks sharp and smooth... moreover, the phone will auto restarts... but this doesn't happen often... the most irritating problem is with the MMC card... while taking pictures or videos, the file is set to be saved in the MMC... most of the time, instead of saving in the MMC, it'll show an error message and save the file into the phone memory... I'd have to re-configure the saving location to solve the problem... after some time, the problem will occur again... I wonder whether it is the firmware problem...

FInally I got Windows XP in my home PC... this means I can put picture into my PC and thus upload onto my blog...
