Classic Game: Transport Tycoon

Three days of weekend holidays plus labour day... I'm back to Masjid Tanah...
haha... Although haven't been back for one weekend, but miss here so much...

I'm so busy with the Eng Design Case Study, which assign us to design some gearing system. It's really a frustrating job. Took me so long to finish it. Luckily we have a good leader who assisted me along the way. Thanks Narvin... oh.. n he's from Sri Lanka...

All the sudden, I feel like playing Transport Tycoon, which is a very very old game. I seen it when I was in Standard 6 (that's... erm... anyway, a long time ago...). I've downloaded a windows version of it not long ago... but didn't really get my hand on it for some time d... :-P

This game is about building a transport empire by transporting people, raw material, and goods to its destination... U can either do it by road transport (busses or trucks), rail transport (trains and later mono rail), sea transport (Which I seldom use cos it's slow n not profitable), final but not least, air transport (Air planes and helicopters)... There's also booing planes later in the game...

My airplanes transporting coal from a coal mine.
They are fast in tranporting materials but are expensive to maintain plus they often crash on the runway.

[Red circle] My plane again, flying over the farm area...
I wonder superman junior from smallville is there watching..???

My chu...chu.. train... rushing back to the forest for more woods...
It's still an old train model... still uses steam to operate...
What to do? I haven't got monorail yet...

[Red Circle] Chak-ching! Here's where the money comes in...
The pink colour train station belongs to my competitors... I currently have two of them... They are anoying at first, but once u gain profit... They are merely insects under yr feet...whahahahaaaaa!!!!

Busses to transport populations over towns and cities.
Helps towns to developed and increases the population over time...
[Red Circle] The vehicles often breakdown on the road. Therefore have to send them for maintainance after some period...

Japanese Class

はじめまして
Hajimemashite
How are you?

This is what I've learned when I went for the first Japanese beginners class...
I've attended the class for almost 3 months... but still feels that I can't really catch up. Well, not only the Katakana, but I'm also having difficulty reading some Hiragana, although it is taught since day one of class... haha...

Hopefully my Japanese will improve at least a little before this trimester ends...

I'm curious when I seen the title... I was thinking wat can the movie have when the 1st episode kill of every crew and passanger of titanic??? except one though..

But to my suprise, they have found Jacks body, locked in ice just like in hibernation, fully preserve to be re-animated...
Now alone, Jack is revived and have to face the reality of life, Rose's death, and a whole new world, 900 years after his time...

There's the trailer to the movie... It may take a while to load...
But it's definately worth it to watch...
Stop the background music on the right menu for faster downloading of the trailer.

Applied Thermodynamics 2

Any Mech student will shiver when they heard Thermodynamics...
Maybe not all, but most of them would...
And I'm one of them... Well, this subject is actually not that difficult when we study its basic...
But as it gets more and more difficult... it started going out of hand...

One and a half hours later is my midterm test for thermo... well, I can say that I'm well prepared, although I'm still doubtful... anyway, spending the whole week to study deep for this subject... I think I can make it well... Stayed in the library almost for 12 hours last weekends... except for lunch & dinner time... haha... :-p still nees a bit of rest and break...

Anyway... hopefully the test is not that difficult... cos from what I heard from the previous year, the highest score for midterm is 40+ out of 100 marks... Most of the class failed... Hard to imagine any subject with almost 60% students fail it...

ALL THE BEST !!!!
Gambatte !!!
